distracted by hurricane party

Well I did hear President Bush's speech. Different and challanging. What do you think? I am afraid I have not been very political the last few days as my attention was given to planning a non-welcome party for hurricane Frances. She blew in and just would not leave, sort of like relatives I know. Out stayed her non-welcome. Oh well no whinning here as I survived, my family survived and my house survived. I cannot say the same for my trees and yard. Hope all the polictials are well. Talk soon.

Rant 2

Kick off time at the GOP.
Former New York City Mayor Ed Koch Stops by Bloggers’ Corner
I am a Democrat, and have been my entire life, but this year I’m voting for President George W. Bush. The Bush Doctrine which is “we will go after the terrorists and the countries that harbor them” is as important as was the Monroe Doctrine and the Truman Doctrine. Four more years of this President’s leadership is essential to victory in the war on terrorism.

First Rant

One question for all to discuss. If, in 1992, military service was a non issue due to Mr. Bill, why is it an issue now? Wether someone goes to Oxford or flies jets in the States or went to Viet Nam is not an issue now. What have you done to advance this country since this time over 30 years ago?
Let's get to priorities please.
